Turbo or not?

Okay guys, here it goes. My car is a 1995 with 107,XXX miles on it. My ultimate mission is to trade it in in two and a half years for 350z which I am on my way. I have done everything I wanted to the car visual wise and I want to add some performace. I don't really want to go with all the high tech exhausts and all that, I just want to go straight to a turbo. Getting a turbo might slow down my Z process by a couple months but I really want this turbo. And if I do end up getting a turbo than I would probaly re-built my car some more and stay with it till I can pay off a M3 in 4 years or so lol. Matter how my car runs but anyways but my real question to all you 4th geners with turbo is should I? It's old and has a lot of mileage but runs really good. I take car of it and everything. But I am just scared dropping six grand than worrying I will be replaced parts left and right because my engine won't be able to handle all that. Is there anyway I can find out if my car is stabile to handle such power increase? Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Mike

If a Z is what you really want, why not use the 6G towards that end and get it a little sooner?

I don't know. I love my Maxima and years back my goal was to get a turbo but than I only had enough money for a 95-96 so I couldn't spring for a 99. After thinking I guess it's not worth it. If I had a 99, 5 speed I would for sure but I don't so oh well. Thanks guys.
