Just got silverstars today and I must say they look great. They are bright white and look nice and clear on the road.. Some people have knocked them down on the .org but I cant see why? I think they are amazaing and well worth the 36 dollars..

I also have the silverstars and I also like them a lot. Obviously not as good as hids but they look much better and are definitely brighter than stock. Only issue people really complain about is they suck in the rain which is true but I haven't really had a problem with it.

I've used Silverstars in my heads and fogs for over a year, and it is definitely a double-edged sword. Yes, they look great and seem to light up the road better. Unfortunately, they don't last - especially if you do a decent amount of nighttime driving. I've had trouble getting them to last longer than six months, which is pretty pathetic. Alas, I'm done with them -- HIDs have arrived!!!

its the oil on your fingers that causes them to burn out prematurely

If it doesn't bother you to repeatedly replace them, rock on. I like em, but after a while (especially with all four lights running them) the trips to the store and the annoying surprise of having one headlight out when I'm driving home from a bar or something at 3am has worn thin ... plus add the fact that the cops around here have nothing better to do than pray they can turn a simple citation into a trip to the pokey.
