I have a 98 gxe 5spd with 100k on it. I have done all maintenence on it including a new knock sensor. The car just doesnt seem that responsive when I step on it. Also i pump premium gas. Is there anything else that could be changed out or done to make the car gain speed faster? My goal is to have a 15 sec. flat maxima. What are the cheapest mods to get that will not reduce reliability? I would like N/A mods.

 

maybe check the throttle linkage cables and see if they are slack-free?
