My max reborn (pics included) sorry 56K

I was unlucky enough to be involved in two accidents and a minor one this summer. First, I was hit by a preist who ran the stop sign in a mall parking lot back in May on mother's day. He had the audacity to lie and say that I ran it! The damage was on my driver side fender and front bumper. Then the day before father's day, some guy made an illegal turn and damaged my passenger side fender, front door, and rear door. I was going to send in my car that Monday to be fixed too. Luckily, I got some money from the preist's insurance company for 40% of the damage. Even though the accident was his fault, there was no police report since it was on private property; it shoulld have been 50%. I also got money for the 2nd accident since the guy got a ticket. Total estimate for both was worth roughly $3600 in damages. Luckily, my dad's freind who owns a body shop hooked me up and only charged me $1000 for labor and $260 for parts. The third accident was in July when some careless idiot I knew from school accidentally bumped into the front of my car while moving his car up to mine, left a nice imprint of his license plate screws on my new paint job. He had one foot out the door and one on the gas while he was doing it. I even told him to stop while he was moving up. I had barely had the kit on my car for 24 hours. I flipped! Anyway, I just used touch up paint and skipped the $125 it would have cost to repaint the front bumper. Without further delay, here are the pics:

I have more pics on my homepage.

The clouds were out that day, so that might account for the color looking a bit darker. Many people are amazed when I tell them that the color is stock.

Hey nice job. I am still in the process of completing my 1995 max to 1997-1999 conversion. I can't wait. Anyways great job on the paint. Is that the stock color or your choice. My car is burgundy and i am getting sick of it. Whats the color code. Thanks.

i was SERIOUSLY never a fan of that color, i never seen a hooked up max in that color and i always considered that the third worst color next to the light blue and light purple but with those rims, the kit and that very clean paint job, i'm in awe at the beauty of your car man. It looks really good, not only clean but u put together the perfect combination for that color. The proper kit (not too radical), the perfect rims along wit the perfect size, even the perfect drop....

plus i never seen a 97 style max wit that color...looks very interesting.

the bulbs look nice, are they pure white? I'm sick of the yellow that my PIAA's give off. I want bulbs to match my polarg clearance, yout hink they'll do the job?

That color is the stock color. Code ALO. A lot of people have asked me the color, and when I say it's stock their jaws drop. I also use KIT Carnuba car wash soap from PepBoys. That stuff does wonders and really brings out the shine. I'm sorry I haven't been replying fast enough. I've been so busy studying with medical school that I even lose track of days frequently.

Thanks all. I got my inspiration from all you guys on the board. As much as I tried to accept the look of my 95 previously, I secretly like the 97 look more, especially with the stillen kit. The next I need to do is the tint. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm looking for something nice and stylish yet legal. The tint on the car is very old and the interior is a bit too visible at night. Thanks for any suggestions.

So Clean, I was shocked at the damages and kinda liked the grill mesh at first but then I saw the final pic, so clean.

the 97 front with Stillen lip has to be the most redundant look on the max next to clear corners. . . and I love it. hope to be there soon.
