With all the gripes about how bad the cupholders are, has anyone designed one to fit into those stupid squares on the console (or has the design improved since my '96)? It seems someone could come up with a great design that would fit solidly into those two square recesses, with maybe one large and one smaller ROUND cupholder above that.

 

Yeah, I used to have the same problem with the cupholders on my 95, but not any more. There's a cupholder that sale @ Big-K for around $8 bucks, and it's perfectly fit on the top of our existing cupholders. However, it can only occupied one cup regardless of the size (It's adjustable and the color is almost match-up). Hope you can find one at ur local store.

 

umm cant u just buy a 98 cupholder? sorry but i never seen 4.0 gen cup holders.....

my 98 has circular holders but they are 2 small as well..
