Attention: TEIN S-Tech @ Eibach Spring

Ok guys, while swapping the wheels between my car and my buddy car, I did notice something seems to be very strange. I got the s-tech and when the vehicle stands on its wheels, the spring coils are compressed close to each others on the UPPER side of the spring on both FRONT and REAR, while my buddy Max with Eibach; its spring coils are compressed on the LOWER coils of the spring. So, whose springs were installed UP side DOWN? My springs were installed by a guy that works at my brother's garage, and my friend car was done at a local garage in his area.
Note: I did look at my spring again and the TEIN letters on the each spring are in correct direction, NOT reading UP side DOWN. I just don't want to make my bro upset when ask him if his man install the springs in correct order. Please look at your set up and tell me how are ur springs look.

I hope it is. I just call my buddy but it was too dark to see anything even with a flashlight. He'll take a closer look in the morning. Thanks

Closer coils should be on top.

It depends on the spring design. The close coils are called dead coils. They dont do anything except keep the spring from falling out of place when the suspension is unloaded. I have seen both designs. As long as the writing is up than they are installed correctly.
