Bees In aA Can Noise

Hey guys,

i have a 98 maxima gle and the stock exhaust system is making the bees in a can noise and itz kind of irratating... it seems to only make it while accelerating slowly to 2000 rpm and then after that itz fine or when u accelerate quickly itz fine aswell

anyone have a clue at to what this could be and how to get rid of it????

My guess would be the flex section on your stock y-pipe.

mmm thanks scarface.. but i live in burlington, ontario which means budget is right next door... actually went to them asking a price on a Y pipe and they quoted me 200 for aluminized and 250 for the other... plus 15 buckz to install... was hoping that i could fix it without buying new parts some how

get the aftermarket y pipe u will knock out 2 birds with one stone

get some exhaust wrap and wrap your flex section....

You could do what happyricefob suggested, use exhaust wrap. You can get that at autozone but that will run you a couple of bucks.
