hey guys just got the motostorm s5 grille and im having trouble takin off the stock one
i can see 3 bolts but the one in teh middle i cant get to
there is a black thing blocking it
i dont really want to ruin the grille but i gotta get it off
can anyone give me detailed directions for removal?

You get that off by twisting it through the little hole in the hamburger with a screwdriver. It's plastic so it gets messed up pretty easy so you need to push on it hard as you are twisting.

 

the sm5 grill fits the 95? since when? i know they were planning on making another but haven't heard of it yet. i thought they were only for 97-99s. i know you can fit a 97 grill on a 95 but i thought you need to either trim a little or you will have a gap, i forget which is bigger but i know they're not the same size.


as far as the middle clip, put in the flat head, feel around for the slot, twist, and kind of push it while pulling the grill out. it's only a plastic clip so it doesn't matter if you break it. goodluck
