Some problem with the engine, engine knocks when starting from a stop or when upshift ( knock for half a second) i cheked the knocks sensor and it seem to be ok (550koms reading) i have no error code and im running always on 91 gas. I just bought the car, any idea???

 

Again, a bad knock sensor will give a 550k OHM reading. Checking the resistance IS NOT ACCURATE. It's only accurate if it gives a 0 reading, besides that I would not trust resistance in this case.

 

I think people misunderstand engine knock (the kind detected by the KS). I think it is better describe by its other common name, "ping". It is quiet. Given that it happens when starting from a stop and upshifting I would guess it make be a motor/tranny mount since these are times when there is more movement of the drivetrain.
