good/bad gas mileage?

i have a 98 max SE 5 spd with 100K miles on it and im getting between 18-22 mpg per tank.....i was wondering is this normal for our cars with the mileage that i have....i have a K&N filter....new ngk copper plugs....and i keep up to date with me oil changes.....

i have read alot of threads on o2 sensors and knock sensors....do u tihnk its time to replace them?

Just check your codes.. if you see the problem then get it fixed.. another option to change out is the PCV valve.. Give that a whirl and see how it goes, also the fuel filter.

I get about 18-20mpg with KS code, intake and y-pipe. Do a tune up and check the resistance on KS.

i get 19-22 for mix city/hwy. If I'm all hwy, cruise control at 75, I only get 22. I just changed my knock sensor and all 3 o2 sensors. Waiting for an excuse to take a long trip now. But yeah, I had 140k on all sensors... it's about time I changed them!

Where do you get gas? There is a gas station chain called Maverick, I used to get 250 miles to the tank, while keeping the rpms below 3k. I run on 91oct(dur). I switched gases to see if I get better results, and sure enough I did! Try out Cheveron, or any other big brand gas station chain.
