Mechanical Fuel Pressure Gauge, Okay?

I am purchasing gauges to help monitor my engine, I got a chance to purchase a Fuel Pressure Gauge, only thing its Mechanical. IS that okay or do I need to go with an electrical one?

Electrical is the better choice as the sender unit is attached inline after the fuel filter. Mechanical means that the fuel line has to come into the dash IIRC.

DO NOT USE A MECHANICAL FP GAUGE IN THE CAR.
put it in you engine bay or on your hood.

FYI: only autometer and Defi makes electrical fuel pressure gauge in PSI format.

Nah ... it's OK! Just put a hole in your hood and have it outside ... you'll be fine

you can get a mechanical gauge, you would just need an isolator to put it in cabin...

go to www.egauges.com

The only isolators I have ever seen are for 15 psi gauges. I don't think they make them to handle 100 psi, like what we need.
