Show me your CLEAN engine bay...here is mine.

Cleaned my engine bay today with some castrol degreaser and simple green. I was satisfied with the way it came out, but feel that it can still get a lot more clean.

Can you guys post your CLEAN engine bay pics?...I wanna see how clean I can get this.

For the most part, there's nothing to it. Most of the grime that accumulates under the hood can be removed with nothing more than a damp cloth or paper towel. There is tougher stuff, and most use Simple Green or equivalent. The hardest part is dedicating the time to do it THOROUGHLY and not half-**** it. I'd post a pit, but I can't. Blah.

The "secret" LOL...I actually repainted some of my severely rusted brackets, like my upper rad support brackets. I used a mix of simple green and "good ol' elbow greese" to remove most of the sh*t. There was some stuff that I simply could not remove...like the pipes around the front header area...did anyone manage to get those clean?

A lot of time is needed to clean it up nice. What i did the time was hook up the air compressor and put the piece on that just shoots air out. You would be amazed at how much stuff this actually gets out of the way. Finally simple green and a wet rag. I got lucky with the brackets that were corroded because i know someone that has a sandblaster thing. Everything comes right off with that machine.
Now its all dirty again so thats something ill have to do agian.
