I've been debating over springs and such and was wondering bout coilovers. I'm wondering is what is the front and rear spring rates on the default Ground Controls that people complain that are too stiff. I was wondering if the Weapon-R's coilovers of 550 lbs front and 450 lbs rear is too stiff? or is that too much or equal to the Ground Control Coilovers. I want the Cattman, but i gotta pay for college so those are really out of the option. thanks.

my GCs

my ground controls are the default spring rate (i didnt ask for a specific rate) and are 450lb front and a "mystery" stiffness in the back... they wouldnt tell me when i called them, and they wouldnt even tell my dealer. the spring rate code they use on the back is: GC.150.64.66. thats a non-standard method of listing spring rate, the front is listed as 0700.250.0450 which means 7" long spring, 2.5" diameter, 450lb/in rate. 300 sounds about right for the rear rate... its what i'd expect them to be. as far as their reasoning why they wouldnt tell me or my dealer, they said it took them a very long time to find the optimum spring rate for the rear, and they dont want to just give it away. on another note... weapon*R products might as well be made for k-mart... they are CRAP. buy the GCs.
