Ok, I find a chick, who wants to swap interior and fix up her maxima, she has a nice white GXE, with black interior. I told her how much I liked the black interior and how much you could do more with it than a tan interior. She told me she would like to swap. So I told her I was down, aslong as I could do it. So it looks sort of time consuming. What I'm concered about is how do I go about taking off these:

Seatbelts:
Headliner (roofing):
Sunroof Panel:
Dashboard:
Carperting:

The panels, and all others look easy, I have the haynes manuel, but it doesnt really explain much, I know there are some people here who have done this and have right ups, plus pictures of where all the bolts are on the dashboard, so can you all post any links and so forth>? Plus any tips I should be aware of, also how hard will it be to switch out the steering wheel, and the shift ****?? Plus can I keep my airbags??? Her car doesnt have any...

 

Tips? Well, the sunroof panel you can snake out without taking out the whole sunroof assembly (I took it out first when doing my sunroof rebuild....not that I needed to )

The headliner isn't too bad to take off...just time consuming. Start from the back and you should be good. Don't forget about the handles, etc.

just take your time. make sure you have removed all retaining nuts/bolts before you yank something. if its not coming out easily, double check. also, do not attempt to take the dash board out, and especially put it back in, without some help. mine is not alligned. the dash bolts are pretty obvious except the too in the vents by the windshield.

 

Hope she's hot cause it's gonna take some time to do. heh

well we're thinking of taken to someone who does interior work on cars. He does custom stuff for shows cars, and **** like that, but I'm still kinda of well, debatin. Anyone have links??? I know one guy who did it, he had a cardomain page, and I know someone had a picture of the dashboard, with all the screws that are in it. of course I lost all my links, back when my computer crashed, so I have to start all fresh.
