Hi I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. I installed a CAI like 2 months ago. love it but one thing i noticed is that when i fill my gas tank up. my DTE( distance till empty) gauge is so off. When i filled for the first time
it read 280 DTE. When i filled a second time when it was half full it read 400. Now i filled it again on empty and it read 280 DTE. Does anyone know how this works. It goes up very slowly. IS it my cold air or bad gas or malfunction on the meter. thanks for your help.

 

after you installed the CAI, you should reset your ECU

 

Do you mean unplug my battery while i installed then i went out and floored it in 1 2 3 4 gear. is that enough or what do you mean by reset ECU? thanks

 

I've noticed so far my fuel economy has gone up a little... maybe ~2mpg. Although I haven't done enough economy tests to verify this.
That, and my long term fuel trim values have increased a little, so it's running richer to compensate...
