i keep debating whether or not to get one through insurance or to not bother at all. mine has tons of tiny little chips that only show up when the sun hits the windshield right and looks like i have tons of salt on it. i guess it's not really too too bad but it's enough to bother me so maybe i should get a new one if insurance covers it...

get a friend to drive in front of you and throw a rock at your window! Just make sure he hits the window and not the car! you can lose friends that way (as in noone will ever find him again!)..... Just a thought!

the key is having it done by a business that knows what they are doing, if you get it done cheaply, it will be a cheap job.

Since insurance is covering it, ask for Nissan OEM glass, you'll only have to pay the difference.

He could just go to the Nissan dealership and they will do it. He'll have Nissan glass and everyone will be happy.
