Hey I'd appreciate it if someone could post some pics of the altezza lights on a '97 Max (or any 4th gen is fine too)..I'd like to see how it would look so I can decide if I want them or not. My car is white so seeing them on a white '97 is my preferance

I have carbon fiber altezzas on my 96 graphite pearl max and i think it looks fine, not really good, but it was the best alternative to stocks available. Gen 2 altezzas look great on 97-99's, but I dont really know about white. Just to let you know now, your gonna get alot of flamage on this thread because everyone here thinks that every max should look exactly the same with red/clears, a stillen kit, and mille miglia evo 5 rims.

That is the only reason I could possibly see for anyone to put altezza style lights on any car.

They just have to have something that isn't stock,no matter how ugly it is.

You probably won't get many results looking for pics of Altezzas here...people seem to prefer red/clears.

I went with the altezzas and I think they look great. Something somewhat different, I don't see too many Maximas with them around here.

 

i wanted to get those altezza for my car but after i saw that brown and chrome tail lights dont mix. i went with red clears on mine.. just my style though

 

chrome on gold is tacky to me... but no its not stock... having a white car, i have considered all the altezza's and whatnot, but really they look really gross to me... red/clear's are the most appealing, and yeah everyone (on the forum) has them...

but when's the last time you drove down the road and saw a modified max? i have yet to see one around town... if it was it had "gangsta dubz" on it... but that don't count...

For altezzas on a 97-99 go with the gen 2

i have them and i love how the look and led's are better looking and people see them better. but i agree wit these guys who said u'll get flamed from people who only use stillen kits, red clears and evo 5's in 17's cause anything bigger is to slow or rice for them....losers

Anyway, everyone is entitled to have what “they” like on “their” car. There shouldn’t be any bashing on stuff like that. (Unless they have one of those gay aluminum wings or a hugeass exhaust tips, and then its okay.)

Oh...and if there wasn't a high enough demand for altezzas, then they wouldn't even produce them.

Here's my Gen II's I like them but Im looking into the Red and Clears...
But as for the Gen I's they suck... 96Pearlmaxs mod is a rare exemption

Us 95-96 guys cant just run out to the hardware store and clear our taillights, we also cant get gen 2's. Our only choices are stocks, All reds, 3 red 1 white, altezzas, or pay upwards of 350 dollars for some red clears if you can find them (not worth it in my opinion.)

 

i made somewhat red/clears for my 96. I have 3 parts red and 1 part clear. It gets the job done, its cheap, and doesnt stand out like altezzas do. Here are some pics:
