Ordered my WS y-pipe last week, didn't open the box until this morning. There's a hanger, but no gaskets- should there be? Is it generally OK to re-use the ones on the car?

 

You should have found two different size, soft metal, 'crush gaskets' placed in the in the clear tape that is wrapped around that hanger. Look again, reusing is not a good idea.

 

The gaskets for my WS y-pipe came TAPED TO THE PIPE so it wasn't readily apparent that they were included. Maybe they did the same with yours but you didn't notice? (I apologize if I am insulting your intelligence here, but it took me a second to realize that the gaskets were attached...)

If you really don't have them I imagine that WS will mail them out to you in a hurry. They are pretty good like that (usually).

Yes- they were taped to the pipe. Guess I should pull the pipe out of the wrap and look at it before I post about missing parts.
