Engine Problem

Okay guys, see if you can figure this one out.

Headed to work this morning and backed out of the driveway. When I put the car in D, and pressed the gas, the car would not move. The engine did not even rev. So, I put it in Park and it revved freely. I don't know how, but after a while of messing around with it, I got the car to return to normal, but now my Service Engine Soon Light is on. I just hit the 15k mile mark. I'm going to take it into Nissan soon since I'm still under warranty. Any ideas on the problem?

Could be a lot of things. If I had to guess, I would say that you might have a problem I had with my gas pedal. Apparently the rheostat (or whatever they use for drive-by-wire) had flaked out and knocked me into limp mode and SES. They replaced it under warranty. The code they pull will tell them everything they need to know. I have read some people state that Pep Boys and other auto parts stores can pull the code for you. Then you can look it up for yourself and see what the issue is. I hope it works out for you.
