anyone know how to take out pass. side airbag?

anyone know how to take out pass. side airbag?

i already have it disconected and i took out the glove box and i see all the bolts, im just seeing if anyone knew exactly how to go about and doing this? any help would be great. thanks alot
im putting custom fiberglass and ps2 in place

im not sure.... i just came here to say: Damn right! f*ck the passenger! He didn't pay for the car or the ride! so he doesn't deserve an airbag!

you could try looking in the Haynes Manual. Im pretty sure it tells all about removing them.

That wouldn't be a smart move, its there for a reason.. Try to re-think of a better location. The glovebox maybe?

is this illegal?i honestly don't know but it sounds like something that might be, and is probably also a pretty bad idea.

well, i have an aftermarket steering wheel and nissan told me since i put in an aftermarket steering ( with no airbag) that no matter what, my passenger side a.b. would never deploy, so its useless now anyways. plus my ps2 will fit in there pretty well. thanks anyways guys, i will just start turning bolts and take it from there.

i will have an cardomain site soon thanks to djjammin, once i finish yhis project im gonna meet up with him and hes going to take some pics for me, so within a month i will have pics up.

I took mine out last year,the bolts are a big pain. You have to use new visegrips and try to file down around the side of the bolot for extra grip,you'll need it. You might also try to ask your nissan dealer if you can buy a special tool.

yea, matter of fact i went to nissan today and one of the guys there did it for me, six bolts ( i think its called a torque tamper proof socket) i had every thing out, so he just broke em loose for me for free, ' what a deal'

Do you have an airbag warning light lit on your dash?

yea, sine i put in a different steering wheel there has been a warning light on and i even took out the fuse and its still on, oh well.
