I have a Otto Racing FSTB which I bought off of ebay. No problems from it. Is yours rubbing something? It shouldn't be rubbing anything. The only thing mine comes close to rubbing is a vacuum hose, but it hasn't actually touched it yet.

If yours is rubbing or making a noise, you need to pinpoint where it is coming from.

I also have an OTTO Racing FSTB... from eBay... hmm, did you outbid me on the first auction ?? It definitely rubs the hood lining... but barely enough to even crease it. Under the hood it touches nothing. I've had it for about 2 months now and it hasn't damaged the lining at all... like I said, barely even a crease. I wouldn't worry about it unless yours is really creasing it or making noise. It might end up flexing your hood if it's touching too much. The FSTB I have is slightly height adjustable, maybe yours too can be adjusted.
