Had my '02 Max for a week...first impressions (if anyone cares)

First thing i noticed was the suspension in the GLE. i cant compare directly to the accord, since it was lowered, with 18s, strut bar, and tokico struts, but this car is BOUNCY. it does corner decently, with no tire squeal on these Turenzas, but even going over slight bumps in corners, BOUNCY. im sure some suspension work will take care of that.

i love the one touch windows (drivers side needs sensor replaced under warranty), and the one slide sunroof thing, auto headlights, smoothness of the wiper arm, signal light, shifter, etc. nice and crisp.

i wish the climate control had more fan speeds. even my friends QX4 only has 4, but my accord was almost unlimited, from very low to about 10-12 notches later, very high.

the seat....i cant get comfortable yet. i still havent found my right position. i lean back and to the right, drive with my left. its hurting my lower back a little bit, since i cant find the right position. the accord (until all the test drivers moved me seat!, was right where i wanted it).

i love the low end power compared the accord (as we all do) and the car heats up QUICKLY from a cold start. as fast as my accord with an intake...plus its only 2 years old.

all in all, i LOVE this car. once i get used to the seat, ill be contect, and modding will start soon (accord is on the for sale block). i just feel like these seats arent as supportive or comfy as the accords. i have even had people from accord sedans tell me my coupe seats were MUCH more comfortable. anyone else have issues with the seats?

yeah these seats aren't anything to write home about, but you can always put in new seats if the stock seats aren't to your liking. i've also noticed the suspension is kind of "floaty" but that should be taken care of with new suspension

The suspension is bouncy esepcially when you have some weight in the back over bumps and feels like its bottoming out alot with a load. So what do you think of the other bells and whistles; memory seats, heated wheel,HID's,much better power etc?

the other bells and whistles are GREAT everytime the auto HIDs come on, it makes me smile, especially with the cool purple hue to them. i havent tried memory seat yet (mainly cuz im the only person who drives my car), but i LOVE the seat moving back and forth to let me in and out. i tried the heated wheel, but it didnt heat up...i dont know if its too warm for it, but it didnt warm up for me, so i might have to see the dealer.

the power, compared to the accord...well, it is no comparison. getting back in the accord to drive it to the few places i had to go to, well, i didnt wanna drive it anymore

i love the one touch windows, and the slide thing for the sunroof. thats awesome!

I just got my first max a few weeks ago but I havent found that 'perfect' seat position. If I move back a liitle pedal position is good but the wheel feels too far away; one position made my right leg go a little dumb :-o ; and the side supports aren't adjustable (on the gxe at least) ; etc.

But hey, I can't complain, it rides a heck of a lot better than the 87 toyota 4x4! :-)
