I love how the 350's and all that have the 194 bulb in the headlight so it lights us the hosuing without giving off light. So i did this myself ot my OEM headlights. here are the pics.

Good job. I would try blue 168/194 leds, I think that would look hot.

Nice work, they look good but City lights have been around for some time, 3rd gens have had them for a while (overseas that is)

oh...and with regrads to the modification, make sure (those going to try/do this) u put the hole in the bottom of the headlight...to avoid any potential moisture issues, secondly keep in mind that this modification may keep you from passing inspection as blue lights up front are illegal.

enjoi

in the write up it says put the hole in the underside and i am lucky....i do not have inspections, and they are hyper whites up front. Yea i know the cefiro headlight have the city light...that is why i did it cause i saw them and like it.

How bad white plastic housing of 194 bulb sticks out. Do you have any pictures up close?

Oh, and A+ on the effort!

looks nice, thats the same way I added strobes to my bumper lamps and corner lamps.

I would have painted the harness black tho, or maybe not had it in that far.

As far as using LEDs, it seems he wanted the same hyperwhite color as his fog lights, hyperwhite LEDs are much more purple than hyperwhite bulbs.

Dark blue might look pretty hot too.

I looks SWEET at night!

i was going to do led's. but with the heat of headlight i though that maybe the led woudl melt or warp the bulb. I might be wrong though. Also leds only produce light in a beam or if you scrtch it up it makes it alittle better, but i wanted to to shine thoughout the headlight and give light off in all directions, so it would light up more.

the harness is not as noticeable as it shows in the pictures. It is noticable, but it does not stand out like that.

I was thinking about doing this with a couple of white LEDs in a line along the bottom of the housing during the summer, but I never got around to it. I was planning on using some wide angle 5mm and aiming them towards the back of the housing to get the most even distribution of light. The thought of drilling pin holes seemed tedious at the very least and I just couldn't have my car out of comission incase something was taking longer than expected.

Have you guys thought about using those mirror bulbs instead of the blue colored one? The mirror ones would blend in more and still light up blue. I might try this out on my altima and see if I like it

LED is a good idea. They are small so they won't be as noticible.

What bulbs or LEDs would need to be used to fit the City Lights. Curious because I just got a set of One-Pieces with them built in but got no bulbs. I'd like to have just nice crystal white, no yellowish light. Thanks.
