Stock Springs (HELP ME OUT)

Hey everyone. I have a 1996 Max with with 100,340 miles on her. I have new KYB GR-2 that I'm going to put on. I would like to lower it with H&R springs but I really can't afford $227 for new springs. So my question is, do stock springs ever sag or wear out? Would it be worth it to replace my stock springs with another set of stock springs with less miles?

Depends on where you get the stock springs, but they may be about the same price as lowering springs.

Springs don't wear out. Save your money, if you want to lower the car for a clean look, get yourself a set of H&R's and couple them with the GR2's.

I disagree...... springs do wear out over time... and will sag over time.. I doubt that most people would notice since they go over time.... unless you can find set of springs off a car with very few miles, I doubt it would be worth it to replace your springs with a diff used set. unless your stock struts are leaking I would wait and save the money to upgrade shocks and springs together.... you will be much happier

I found a set of stock springs out of a 1999 Max from someone on the org for $45 with 34,000 miles on them. Would that be a good buy, cause it's a lot cheaper than $200 for H&R.
