In the steering section (ST), what is the correct range for the rack sliding force? Is is 40-48lb, or 49-64lb?
(It's located in the rack rebuild part, titled Pinion Adjustment or something, and on 97s it's 40-48lb)

42-64lb (rack sliding force under normal operating oil pressure at rack speed of 3.5mm/sec).
Hmmm... thought I had 99 FSM but I checked and it says 1998. I have the CD version. Hope this helps anyway.
