How do you all do on inspection???

I finally got my inspection done today. This is my first inspection with this car and i was looking at the slips from the last few and on all of them they were close to failing. Remind you they were all with the person i bought the car from and i have done a good amount of work on the car since
I got it. So i was very proud of my numbers that i ended up with on the emissions - i got
.25 hc
1.79 co
.5 nox
those are the same numbers that the car has gotten 4 years ago -so i really posted this thread to show how happy i was with the numbers and myself for taking so much better care of the car then the last guy but i really posted this to see how others maximas come out on emissions

please post how you did on emissions so i can see how i stand thanks

On the slip it also says what failing is so just compare the numbers. Post those numbers up too... did you have a Y pipe?

You have to be kidding. CA is notoriously tough for emmissions. I believe MA may be modeled after it, but CA is the trend setter on sh!tty emissions standards (well from the car enthusiasts POV...not the enviromentalist's).

I failed my inspection, but the guy hooked me up I have full exhaust and intake. People say that even with a y-pipe they pass but I didn't, mine failed, maybe it has something to do with the strict NY emissions. It has always passed before I put the exhaust. Anyway here's my numbers, this was the first run, he did say the second rund was a bit better but it still failed.

HC was .78 it should be up to .60
CO was 5.14 limit was 10 so this was ok.
NOx was 2.20 limit was up to 1.50

I dont have a problem with emissions. My fathers boy will make the car pass even if its really modded.
