i have tein s-techs coupled w/ tokico illuminas. honestly, i think the ride is great, much better than the stock setup. on bumpy roads though, your cd player will tell you the ride is too harsh (my bose skips a lot easier now). but so long as your on smooth roads, i think the ride is sportier. also, i have a obx type-h catback, and the b pipe hangs low near the pass. side rear wheel. i've been okay over some speed bumps but over a few ones here, if my car is full w/ 5 people in it, i do scrape. i have pictures of how it sits on my cardomain, and a couple pics of the setup/installation on page 6.

I like the S-Techs.... although if you have mud guards... they may drag over some speedbumps

S.Techs are ok. Get adjustable tho. I had my AGX's on 2 and couldent stand the ride (PA Roads) There back on 1 now and I like them. Last week they were commpressing to much and making noise, but seem ok now??? Would recommend if you want a nice looking drop, and really improve handling

I have KYB AGX, I have mine set up on 3/4 and my ride is pretty smooth. I am sure when I drop it more I have to lower it.

no you won't mess up the front of your car, you'll just knock your bump stops....its just not good for your struts, but you'll prolly want to upgrade those anyway. One night i was driving home and my windshield is tinted 35%(need HIDs) and there was a good sized branch in the road that my headlights caught just a bit too late.....so i just ran that mother over and truely thought i did some damage; but got home and not even a scratch.

After four months on them, i truely trust the teins haha

Ok cool, I have KYB AGX struts, with factory Nissan dust boots. I am just waiting to see if Ant friend has those springs so i can buy them from him.

do you need camber bolts with these?

i can't decide on which springs, i really like what i hear about h & r's but i don't want to lower it to be disappointed with remaining wheel gap. i'm sure any drop now is better than my 4x4, but why put money (that i don't really have) into something i might question later. any suggestions appreciated.

when I got my alignment done, they corrected the camber for me.. you DEFINITELY need alignment with this drop...

It all depends on what condition the roads are in, where you live.

I went with the H&R/Illumina setup, because the roads in NYC are just atrocious. The Belt, BQE, part of the LIE etc, aren't even roads anymore. Also a lot of driveways around here, that you can scrape pretty nicely on. The H&Rs give me an acceptable drop with no appearance of a 4x4 look, yet still retain enough suspension travel to better deal with some of the cheese grater roads around here.

yes, i've never had the problem of dragging mud guards over speed bumps, but coming off a driveway with a curb i have. here's a pic to see how low it is.

Eibachs are a good spring, but how can their drop even compare to Teins?
He said he has AGX why would he want to go a step backwards with GR2's?
