Lexus ES300 OEM HID Kit ---> Nissan Maxima

Alright. Here I go...not sure if anyone knows much about this but I thought I'd try to see what my fellow maxima folks thought. Ok. Well I just bought a 2000 ES300 OEM HID Kit (4600k) off of ebay. Its in perfect working order....the reason I got it was because it was pretty much a steal, and the guy had listed it under the wrong section. . Ok. Well I know that these are 9006 bulbs and all. But I was wondering is there a way for me to install these in my maxima? If so, it is easy or is it not worth doing? Thanks - Ray

Its www.hidforum.com

Youve posted it wrong in a few threads, also, that forum is down anyways, so either way you wont get an answer.

You are gonna have a tough time with 9006 i think, If I remember correct, its either 9005 or 9006 that is a 90 degree angle bend where the bulb starts, so I doubt it would fit in the stock maxima housings. Good luck, its worth a shot. So when you get it, try it out.

How much did you pay? Good luck installing them, are you going to look into retrofitting projectors?

ES300 (ithink) don't come with projectors. I think that he just has the HID kit.

You might want to pick up some projectors with that...
