BJ gone bad!

I installed my front Brembo rotors and Hawk pads and right off the bat they were better! My concern is they are ALWAYS screaming/squeeking and its drivng me nuts! Also, tonight i disconnected my e-brake cable due to when I back up it sounds like an elephant is caught in a trap....it is SO loud! That definitely did nothing for the sound.....I might already be on to something by saying this but counld my rear brake calipers be mis-alligned an causing this horiffic noise?! Any help will definitely be appreciated...

On a side not I raced an 03 GTI and got my *** handed to me! I definitely am on the hunt top beat him now...anyways, any help will be sweet!

Hawk HPS are crap with plain rotors, they made my 323 sound like a Trabant every time I stepped on brake.
Did you use anti-queal paste? They say it helps. It did not help me though

They are only slotted rotors and I am currently using the Brembo rotors offered for our car....how does that anti-squeal paste work? I didn't see ANY instructions so I actually put it on my rotors....I now wish I had never used it from the sounds of it....tell me I'm wrong!

hmm, I dont 'think' your supposed to put it on the rotor.. I think your supposed to put it on the back part of the pads that touch the caliper.. Not exactly sure but my breaks squeal sometimes when im doing a light stop when its really hot outside.. Then it doesnt sqeak at all for weeks, then it comes back for a few days.. I blame it on the weather, I dont know it doesnt bother me that much..

Just put the music up =)

Get a Haynes manual. That is what I used when I changed my brakes, as well as for many other things. I got mine on Ebay to my door for $13 dollars or so. You could also get them at any autoparts store.

By the way, I have the Hawk HPS pads paired up with Powerslot rotors. I get a little bit of squeal here and there, nothing bad though. It took a few months for them to start making a little noise.

nice line....but it will not work with my car...I have a Chiltons manual and a big hammer, I'm gonna try to re-allign the calipers to see if that works...if it doesn't its off to the Dr.s for the 'ol max...

Try this line though at a bar if you're of age...pick up a packet of sugar that says sugar on it and say excuse me to the waitress or hot chick, you dropped your name tag sweety....I swear girls will eat this crap up...no offense to the ladies ont he org.
