What RPM switch are you using? You only need to tap of either the ECU or the coil pack for the rpm signal. Not both

Whenever doing any work on your car, even if you dont inslall items yourself, make sure you know and understand the way everything is linked togehter and how it works so if there are any problems, you dont have to take it to whoever installed it all the time for simple troubleshooting like you're having now. And its pretty sad to see that you dont even know how to tell if its working, not the slightest clue from what it seems like. Not trying to lecture, just trying to give advice. Most of us here on the org do our own homework and really get involved even it its just understanding a concept, such as the VI.

It's gonna be real hard to explain things or help if you did not do the install and don't know how it is supposed to be. Without doing it yourself your not gonna be able to anwser any questions.

You may need to find a max owner in your area with a VI to help you.
