1995 Maxima Transmission repair vs buying one

I'm looking for a transmission for a Nissan Maxima 1995. It was made on 07/94. I'm seeing that there are some different things like locking and not locking mechanisms stuff from which I have no idea what it is. I was also looking to know about how much should I expect to pay. Is it better to buy an used one vs new one or just repair my old one. Any internet links that might help me find this item will be greatly appreciated. Thans for all ypour help

Doesn't matter you dont need one

See also = Limited Slip Differential, LSD, not the drug. . .but this type of diff. not normally used in auto Maximas, unless you're in Canada but not sure as I'm not from Canada.
