Knocking sound from engine......
I've had this problem forever now...
When my car is in gear (automatic) and i'm completely stopped...the ending is vibrating in a way ....knocking....don't know how to explain it.... BRRRRRRRRRRR........my rpm's are at 500 when in gear.....
what could it be???
are the rpm's supposed to be higher?

mine does it to - but very ocasionally , thus i'm not even messing with it.
You could adjust your base idle speed , but since it's set from factory and adjustemants are not recomended i'm not messing with it.
