Ok, this the deal, I am talking to a major distributor regarding dash trim kits; conversation went well, they're going to come back to me sometime next week. Price will be seen that day so for now these are some notes:

1) This is for all Gen's starting with 3rd through 6th (including 2005)
2) You choose Aluminum, Wood or CF
3) If you want "real" Aluminum, Wood or CF it'll probably be about $10 or so more

Post if you interested, sometime next week I will make the post with prices, I need to get
back to them with an estimate!

BTW, I will be going away for the weekend so I won't be back on till Monday!

Not to hijack your thread, but those pictures you're showing are not real aluminum. They have two pictures of a real aluminum dash kit on a Maxima, but those were stolen off of my website and it's one of our kits, not theirs. The funniest thing is, one of those pictures is of my car from a long time ago.



This pic is a customer of ours from 3 years ago. It's funny, but this is the 3rd or 4th company to have taken this picture.

 

I would like to see pics of a 6th gen with real brushed aluminum, or at least the quality of the REAL aluminum used it the kits. If its nice then im definately in.

 

And more... All of the pictures we have were taken by us at our shop, so I know their ours, I have them all on hard copy.

Dude sorry for any infringment, all the pics I've posted here have been from Ebay, however the link I posted was from the company I'm dealing with any problem with those pics is on them

 

I know it's not you. I just hate seeing other companies steal our pics and pass of their stuff as real aluminum. It causes problems for us because then I have to explain to customers why our stuff is different from the plastic stuff, and then why it's more expensive. Every month we catch 2-3 companies using our pics without permission, nothing new.

Like I said, not trying to mess up your buy, I just saw the synthetic aluminum kit pics and you were mentioning real aluminum. And on NYC Dashes website, they don't have any pictures of an actual real aluminum kit except for the pictures stolen from our site.

Their pictures of carbon fiber kits and wood kits all seemed to be the real deal, but all their pics of real aluminum kits were in fact synthetic kits.

 

the good thing is that they're willing to send some samples before you make the buy

 

Interested in a complete factory-match "Real" Wood Dash Kit for a 1996 I30 along with Door Inserts and Gauge Overlay/Bezel. Also, curious if the kit includes "whole" door cups and door handle housings, not just tacky trim around the edge. Thanks.
