Noob Question, but need input. Which dashkit should i get? please vote

I know this is a newbie type question but i will take my chance and ask it anyways...ok i am 18 and do not have the money to buy dash kit after dash kit to find what i like. I have a chrome dash kit and it is getin kinda knicked up cause it is kinda fragile( must be italian). Should i got the real carbon fiber route or burlwood?

i have a tan interior with black accents like steering wheel and such. which one would look the best, cause i am tron betweent he 2. thank you for putting up with my newbie Shiznit

depends on what kind of interior feel you want.

If you want a luxurious feel to it go with the wood.
If you want a sport car feel to you car, get the carbon fiber.

Haven't seen the wood on tan, but the CF is ugly. Keep what you have.

I went with the cf kit because it hid the black accents in the interior. When I put it on it actually looked alot better than I expected. I don't think that you would do wrong going with this kit.

But you do have to think about this...wood=classy......carbon fiber=sporty

Then ask yourself: what do you consider yourself?

the carbon fiber looks awsome, but i went with burl wood. I had acouple people im me on aim and tell me burl wood, so i guess most people like burl wood. i equally lkike them. So i went a head and got the brul wood kit. Also to go with it i got teh burlwood and chrome e-brake handle from custom maxima(Only $19 now), and chrome gauges rings to go with my burlwood bezel. So i am doing it wood with chrom accents like some aston martins.

Any of them will peel, sorry. It's the hot sun on the dash immediately followed by cold air coming from the vents by the clock - the lacquer will peel right off of the wood. It happened to the wood trim installed by the dealer, and it happened to the joshuatree 'Italian Burlwood' trim set I installed myself. It looks fantastic but then one day it'll start peeling, and then, shoot. And you can't buy just one piece to replace the peeled one, it's a whole new set each time.

Dunno if carbon fiber will also peel, but I'm guessing yes since it's also covered with the lacquer. IMO cf is really tacky.

I think that it just happens to cars that are constantly in the sun. If you don't take care of something like that, of course it gonna be destroyed. Being careful with what you have is the first step. I've had my dash kit for about 2 years with no peeling.
