Do Hubcentric Spacers come w/ diff. outer bore diameter?
Do Hubcentric Spacers come w/ diff. outer bore diameter?
Hey guys I need some help. I'm getting 300zx calipers and need another .5" for them to fit under my 19".
Right now I have hubcentric rings with my aftermarket wheels. When I ordered these they needed the inner bore diameter (66.1) and my outer bore diameter (73.1). I had to call the place of where I got the rims for the outer diameter because the guys at Tire Direct don't carry those wheels and didn't know the diameter. If I get hubcentric spacers do they come with a 73.1 outer bore diameter?

Yeah I know this is a pretty stupid question, but somebody has to know. I'm not sure if rims have different bore sizes, but I know there are different sized hubcentric rings that have different outer bores for your car.
Okay I don't know if this thread is confusing or what, so how abou this.
I'm asking are the rings on the spacers hubcentric or are they just sleeves for my hubcentrirc rings to slide over.

Yes, you must know the hub size of your aftermarket wheel. This will be the outer dimension of the ring, where your inner size is your factory hub which is 66.1 for us Maxima owners. If you have the wheel, all you do is get an analog or digital caliper and measeure the hub size inside the wheel. This will give you the dimension you will need in getting the proper hub rings. But, reading your post it seems confusing because you said you bought different calipers and wondering about the fit/clearance of the wheels. By any chance, are you looking for SPACERS, instead of HUB RINGS to clear the calipers after mounting the wheels? Spacers and hub rings are two different things serving different purposes.
www.justforwheels.com The can match with wheel company. Yes it's 66.1

You know when you order hubcentric rings you provide them with the make and model of your car and brand of rims. With that info they send you the proper rings with the correct outer and inner diameters....... Now with the hubcentric spacers so I have to do the same thing?
I found a set of spacers online. The seller just states that they fit 114.3 bolt patterns and that's about it. I'm just trying to figure out if the outer diameter will be correct.

I found a set of spacers online. The seller just states that they fit 114.5 bolt patterns and that's about it. I'm just trying to figure out if the outer diameter will be correct.

This thread is way too confussing so here is my question simplified.
ARE ALL OUTER BORE DIAMETERS 73.1 FOR ALL AFTERMARKET WHEELS OUT THERE?
I thought they were all different because when I ordered my hubcentric rings they needed to know what brand of wheels I had so they could send me the right outer bore diameter.

H&R spacers for maxima. notice the 66.2mm. All hub centric rings for wheels do it keep the wheel on more balanced on hub instead of just the studs and lugs. your trying to clear 300zx calipers all you will need is these spacers. The same spacers I need to clear the AP/stillen BBK.
