My max was totaled and I bought it back so I could get some stuff off of it but now I was thinking about getting the salvage title and insuring it so I can drive it legally. Who insures savaged vehicles? If it matters, i'm in Atlanta, ga. thanks

i thought normal insurance companies didn't because progressive immediately canceled my policy as soon as the car was deemed totaled. I'll have to call around then. thanks

 

Many states will not title a salvaged vehicle unless it has been restored and inspected.

 

u have to go to DMV, or the tag agency and have them inspect the car. Im in NY. i have a salvage title, from insurance fraud.. luckily my car was already inspected. ive had friends who have tired to do what you are doing but it took them forever to get the car registered and insured because u have to prove that everything u put back into that car isnt stolen...

and by the way. im pretty sure if u car is deemed totaled, your insurance will get canceled right off the back. like they said, u need to get it inspected first
