Bought VB mod... solenoids???

I bought Don's VB mod from Kashoggio a few days ago in the 4th gen classifieds. Haven't gotten it yet, but I had a question about the solenoids. I have searched and found that guys that get their VBs done at Maxximum tuning usually get the solenoids replaced as well if it's a high mileage car. 135k here.

Where can I buy these? Besides taking it up the a$$ from the $tealership... I have checked a few parts websites, but cannot find them.

Also, I have read that Don's VB is excellent, it's just his customer service that's shiety. True?

Thanks,
drew

shift solenoids are ~$140 at the dealership, ask him for the new and upgraded version - Nissan had involuntary recall on them and there is TSB too.

Don't let the dealer sell you set of solenoids for $400. He tried that trick on me and i shoved the TSB right in his face.

my tranny shifts very crisp with new solenoids. I'm at 140K.

Nick.

They are really only $140??? WOW I thought they would be a whole lot more than that. Cool!

Thanks for the responses!
