fuel pump location
fuel pump location
This morning I cant start my max.
I fixed, feul pump is not workin - no pressure.
I have no service manual, so
where is the feul pump located?
Or maybe there is a problem with electrical part. What shall I must check?

Check the fuel pump relay inside the trunk behind the cardboard liner, just to the left of the latch. The fuel pump relay is the green one. Also, you can check the pump fuse first, which is in the fuse box below and left under the steering wheel. The last thing electrically that I know of is the engine control fuse (25A), that is located in the box under the hood mounted to the inner driver's side fender. Any of those things could cause the pump not to run.
Look in the faqs gen maint links. I found it in about 5 clicks.

Thank all of you, for your help.
At this moment I fixed that pump fuse is blowed, and it blowes at once I put there one.
Mechanics said, pump is near the end and it requires more power, so all fuses are blowing. So I tried to put some tongs into the fuse plug, and the pump is working quit well. The fuel pump specialist told me, most japanese cars have similar problem: the contacts on the pump cover is rusted and dirty, but the pump is all right. So I must to clean them, and work is done... maybe.
For that I must take out the gas tank. Is it hard to do, maybe someone have instructions?
thanks

You do not to take out the tank. the fuel pump is located under the back seat.{the cushion you set your butt on!} Remove the seat them you will see a round plate with screws around its edge. Its in there.
