Penzoil 10W-30 and BOSCH filter

What do you guys think about Penzoil 10W-30. I have 100,000 on my 1990 GXe. and no oil leaks. I have been using Penzoil lately with the Nissan Oil Filter. I sometimes get hard starts with the oil light blinking for about 3 seconds, but it has improved dramatically when I switched from the Fram to the Nissan oil filter. Also what do you guys think about Bosch filter.
So what do you guys think about Penzoil oil. I got it for a pretty good price and bought a lot, and its running out, so I want your opinions. I read the stickies but I've been using regular oil for 100k so I dont think I'll be switching to Mobil 1 synthetic. Also I dont mind changing oil every 3k intead of 7k, its actually kinda fun..lol

aminus21,

The Bosch product is a good filter for the $$$. I cannot find the application for your car but I believe it uses the Bosch 3400 which I use on my 1994 altima. It is much bigger than the thimble sized filters for 95-2003 Maximas.

Pennzoil 10w-30 is a good choice for an older vehicle like yours. It is one of the three best dino oil on the market along with Chevron Supreme/Havoline, and Castrol GTX. With Pennzoil and the Bosch filter you might be able to push your drain interval to 5K miles depending on the condition of your engine.

As for Mobil 1, it does not perform any better for short intervals of 3K-4K miles based on the used oil analysis (UOAs) that I have seen.
