would you buy them again or recommend them to others? Why or why not? I know there have been many threads on the 512's, but have yet to see a poll.

I'm most interested in hearing people's opinions on this tire when comparing them to the OEM Potenza tires.

Don't say these Falken's suck when compared to a tire that's twice the price - it's obvious they probably aren't as good.

I'd like to know how much better they are when upgrading from the stockers.

I think a lot of people are at the point where their Potenzas are about shot and can't afford to drop $800-1000 on tires.

The Falkens are definitely better than the Potenzas in the rain. I feel much safer in the rain now. I will get to see how they are in the snow this winter. As for straight line dry traction I think its kind of a wash with the Falkens edging out the Potenzas. I was looking at several tires when I got these namely Kumho Ecsta, Pirelli P-zero nero M+S, and Michelin Sport A/S. The michelins were too rich for my blood. When it came down to the other 3 I thought the Pirellis would perform better but were still a bit too expensive for my budget at the time. Coming down to the kumhos and the falkens the idea I got from looking at peoples reviews is that they performed fairly closely but the kumhos were a bit heavier. I have not been disapointed in the falkens although I do want more straight line dry traction. They are definitely worth the money. I got the Falken ZE-512 Ziex 235/45ZR17 for $89 each plus $34 shipping from http://www.vulcantire.com/ .

I'd recommend them to guys looking to spend around $100/each. Probably one of the better choices in that price range. But when I replace them on my OEM wheels, I will probably look at a few other options when that time comes.

I have had alot of problems with balancing with the 512 but for the money they can't be beat. Once I got everything right they are great tires but I will buy a more expensive tire next time and a word of advice never buy tires online go to a local store where if you have problems they could replace them without all the head ache it is worth the extra 10 bucks

I got 'em. I love 'em.

I'm considering getting another set for my stock rims for winter. From what I've heard here on the org, they are good in the snow.
