Have a 2K SE (5-spd). Have the Cattman Y-pipe and I enjoy it. But like any good HardOCP'er...I need more power. Looking at the Stillen Intermediate pipe. Any thoughts as to what that is, how hard to install, downsides (emissions, noise, compatable with Cattman Y-pipe) and ramifications on after market exhausts (if and when I decide).

thanks guys (and seemingly gals) for the help.

Stillen doesn't have an intermediate pipe (also called the b pipe) out for the Maxima. You can have a shop custom fabricate a b pipe for you (other members have done this), or wait until GReddy comes out with a cat-back (b pipe + muffler).

Thanks. The Stillen PRINT catalog shows it, the web site does not. I think I have seen one at AVALON RACING. How is the noise on it and does it work (well) with a Cattman Y-pipe?

Thanks for the expertise.

If you knew stillen as well as most of us do, they put stuff in there catalog but do not actually make it yet. That is them. The thing I would like someone to try is if the Courtesy Bpipe will fit from the 4th gen with what modifications need to be done to make it fit?

I made mine out of 2.5" SS now =)
Finally had access to a SS Pipe Bending Machnine, and 10 ft of 2.5" OD Piping.
Did you keep or do you have any kind of resonator? I am thinking about that change, along with a random tech cat, while keeping the stock muffler.

Any advice?
