Low fuel light

My low fuel light doesn't work any more. It is not the light bulb in the dash. Is there a sensor in the tank that could be bad?

You seriously checked the bulb?

According to the repair manual, accessing the instrument panel bulbs requires you to remove the entire front dash (that includes removing the clock, a/c panel, and radio as well as the part that covers the passenger airbag).

Did you do all that just to check that little bulb?

I don't know what manual you read. You only have to remove the instrument panel.

Does anyone know of a sensor in the tank for the low fuel light? I like to keep every thing working on my baby.

Mine works fine but why let the tank get so low?
