spyware issues on the org?

I realize this isn't the tech support forum, but...

recently (past week or so) I've been noticing frequent popups and everything when I visit the org, and when I run ad-aware it picks up between 20-30 new objects. this time, on one visit to the org, and nowhere else, it's 27 new objects. most of it's in the registry, some of it is running processes and when I choose to delete them, it closes out my browser. I just cleared everything off 10 minutes ago and I go straight to the org and back and pick this stuff back up! . anybody else having this too, or is it just me? I've also been having my suspicions of a virus, but since I formatted my hard drive I lost my free copy of norton anti-virus.

follow-up:

...and it's all got the name "people on page" to it.

sorry, my computer expertise is in programming, and most of that is back in the days of DOS. I lost track when microsoft started coming out with a new operating system every other tuesday.

Try deleting it in safe mode, and if that won't work you'll need to do it with a dos boot disk ( like a win98 boot disk for example ) and navigate to the file and delete it.

I wasn't sayin the org was infected, I just wanted to know if anyone else had this.

anyway, it was a virus. I forget what it was called, but I downloaded a fresh copy of norton antivirus 2005 and it picked up like 20 infected files. since then, it's been taken care of.
