Hey, just wondering if they make LSD (Limited Slip differential) for the maxima. For those that might know it by a differnt name, its so the both tires spin or burn out instead of just 1 tire when yuo dont have traction. I tried to do a seach but im not a donating member, sorry.

 

You can swap in a I30 LSD tranny and driver side axel.

 

Is that expensive, well is it more than 500 dollars?

 

Depends on if your doing the labor yourself. If your paying a shop then it will be much more than $500.

Also, a VSLD I30 tranny is tuff to find

Oh, and this is for a 5spd only.

 

Yeah, i would be getting 5-speed maxima anyways. I gotta pay off a debt im in, then ill be able to look for maxima. Which will be about 2 months.

 

if your going to get a 5 speed anyway, you should just find a maxima that needs a new one, and get it for cheap, and then drop the i30 tranny in and driver side axle.
