Trouble starting up

Last Friday I had my fuel injectors replaced and since then I've noticed that somtimes when I go to start the car the engine turns over 6 or 7 times before it will catch. Now before the injectors were replaced and at no other time in the last 5 years of driving my Max have I needed to crank the engine that many times. Usually starts up in 1 or 2 cranks. Is this new intermittant problem related to the injector change or totaly unrelated. I just pulled the ECU codes and im getting the 05 05 which is good but Im not sure where to go from here. Ant suggestions??

Try leaving the key in the on position for 20 and than try to crank it. It helps on my 96 GXE. I think on mine its the fuel pump. By the way is there a ghetto way to check the fuel pressure (without buying the pressure gauge)?

Thanks for the suggestons. I tried leaving the key in the On position for 20 sec then crankin it but it didn't help. Maybe it is the fuel pressure reg. or the pump. I don't know but I can't help but think that it has to do with the injectors being replaced. I did have the fuel filter changed out as well but I doubt that caused the problem. I did figure out that if I give it a little gas when I crank it that it will start up but you shouldn't have to do that with a fuel injected engine. That itself kinda makes me think that it could be a fuel pressure issue but how do I diagnose exactly what it causing it?

I'd like to know the reason why you replaced all your injectors in the first place?

The reason I replaced all of the injectors is that I already had one go out at 110K. I am now at 139K with the same problem and don't what to pay for the labor cost to do the job a 3rd time. I purchased remanufactured Nissan injectors for about $53 a piece so the whole job with labor cost me under $450. The car runs alot better now, no lag between shifts. I bought the car with 70K on it so who knows how it was cared for.
