i just bought 2 sets of them for my buddy's 97+98 max's, we installed the ones on the 98 auto gxe last weekend, the install isn't that hard it just takes a lil time to get the rear headers heat shields off and the bolts since the motor mounts r in the way of a couple bolts, but the front one is easy, but his warpspeed y-pipe had to be bent slightly out to fit the perfect with the headers and the lil pipe that connects to the rear header had to be bent slightly too but overall it aint that hard unless your a rookie. as for the performance he thinks he gained a lil top end horse, especially with the 75 shot, as for the sound it might be a lil louder but not much because he was already loud with ypipe and fully open exhaust, but i think my friend with the 97 supercharged will gain even more since he is boostin, but for 120 shipped i think the stone racing headers are worth it!! but they still cant hang with my sr20 240sx!!lol

Why bother reading through several paragraphs when 1 word sums it up:

NO.

I think MrEous has these installed. PM him.

if your friends max can keep up with your sr20 powered 240...there is defiently something wrong. I have owned 2 of them and they will by far rip a supercharged max down repeatedly. get that thing tuned!!

your sick he is pushin 270 at the wheels he aint stock and im only pushin 225 with 11 psi, as for the headers if u paid 500-700 for the cattmans ur smokin crack, but $100 for the stone racing ones is well worth it especially if u r boostin or sprayin

I can keep up with anything that has an SR20 no problem.
Now in the other hand an SR20DET + mods and tune is a different story.

a stock sr20det aint that fast, 205hp 14.2-14.5 1/4 mile, but u start crankin boost its a whole different story.

As for the crack optimus310, u sure u can afford it after paying out the A$$ for those ridiculously priced headers.

as for my friends dyno results he got 267hp and 286tq with a 75 zex wet shot(98 auto gxe), that was right after we put the stone headers on, so he dont know how much he really gained since he didnt dyno before he put them on.
