Couple of questions about the y-pipe

Ok really want to get this but i have a couple of questions bout it.
1) How does it effect emissions
2) Do i need to get other exhaust work done
3) Does gas milage go down?
4) Is low end power lowered?

Yea i know i sound like a newbe but help a brother out please!!

1) Removal of precats will cause you to fail emissions testing if you don't warm the car up prior to testing.

Another point about emissions: Removal of the pre-cats in the OEM Y-pipe is a violation of federal law and renders your vehicle technically un-roadworthy in every state.

However, if your state just does a tail pipe sniffer test and not a full visual inspection, you'll probably get away with it.
