How to remove right axle?

I am trying to remove the right axle (pass side). The left axle came out very easily but I am having a hard time getting the right side out. The FSM says to pry it out from the axle support. But I tried to pry it out carfully but I am bending part of the axle and the axle isnt budging.

Pics

If you look at the pics you can see what I am talking about. The are a couple of bolts on the axle support, do I have to remove these to get out the axle? If any of your experts got any tips I am ready to learn.

TIA

Very nice of the FSM to leave this little tidbit of info out. On a Acura which I took out the tranny I didnt have to remove it so I didnt think I had to here. Guess I'm an idiot.

Live and learn that's all. As long as you don't damage it, you're okay. Take off those bolts and it should just yank out. Or pry as before. I'm pretty sure the FSM should mention this but I never use the FSM 90% of the time anyway. Or you could try the autozone manual in the stickies

If removing the right halfshaft, remove the bolts securing the support bearing.

Carefully pry the support bearing out of its housing. The support bearing will not fully slide out of its housing until the halfshaft is removed from the transaxle

BTW. Nice job with the pics. If not for those, it could have been difficult to advise what the problem was.
