5.5 HIDs in a 5gen - portability?

5.5 HIDs in a 5gen - portability?
I'm gonna be putting 5.5s in my 2k soon, what I want to know is - after you wire them up and all, I'm just wondering how difficult it is then to take them out and swap inthe old ones again. And if this procedure is likely to damage the HIDs (or maybe the DDEs Im gonna install as well) if its done like once a year.
Reason I'm asking, is b/c I live in Canada, but every year or so I come down to NJ to visit relatives and stuff, and as soon as I get down there I become a little afraid
So I want to swap in my 2ks for these yearly trips
