Pretty smooth ride. On a good road I've had very picky passengers who didn't know they were on until I told them. On a choppy uneven road it can get rough...but then again every lowering spring does.

I can only compare it to stock and Tein S-Techs with GR2s. Compared to stock, pretty comfortable, though you WILL feel more of the road. If you have a lot of uneven/dips in the road you'll notice them. And anything is better than S-Techs. Good god.

I'm a very picky person when it comes to ride quality...and I believe the H-Tech/Illumina combo is definitely bearable.

I have mine set to 2F/2R and ride is very stock like. The drop is not extreme but enough to notice. I think you will be very happy with them.

I don't have em, but people I've spoken to on the Org love em.... nice even drop, much better than stock handling, and almost stock ride... that's what I've heard...

Dont believe the "Rides like stock" stuff. ANY lowering spring is going to ride rough on certain roads. I have mine set 3F/4R and it's still on uneven roads especially tranistion (metal) strips on the highway. It goes like.....smooooootth......BAM....smoooooth. Good luck.

Note: I said "almost stock ride"... fine, on a comfort scale of 1-10, say stock is a 10, H-techs would be an 8... how about that?

And even in saying that, we've already seen on these forums that you can argue your case till you're blue and people will still have very different opinions on ride quality...

I've had both S-Techs and H-Techs. Both have a noticeable drop. I actually found S-techs to be too low for my liking.

I used the GR2s with my S-Techs that EVERYONE was raving about at the time providing "stock!" ride quality. What a crock of sh*t. That suspension setup was off my car within a matter of weeks. S-Techs take away too much suspension travel, IMO.

If you prize ride quality, and you don't drive on roads paved with silk, then don't get S-Techs.

H-techs and illuminas here, the ride is good, i assume you have an SE... this is coming from a person that has a GLE (better ride).....on the side streets they are great, on the freeway every bump is taken and absorbed, but if you hit multiple bumps, then you wil notice the difference....3f/3R is the usual setting everyone likes. You will have a better ride than me depending on your tires as well, i have low profile on 19's so i feel the road even more. going over speed bumps(a **** load around school) i dont have to turn at super sharp angles to prevent scratches...i just take them slow and nothing happens. I personally dont like doing that at every bump/dip so i like the tein h and illuminas for ride quality, better handling, and function for everyday drive around bumps/dips.

wanna hear about H Techs and GR-2's?

anyway, I think H-Techs are the best springs out there for people who want noticable drop without compromising other things (ride quality, ability to go over bumps without scratching etc.)

H-Techs and Illuminas here also. They are better than the Eibachs and Tok blues that I had and they are better than the stock Se setup. It's the 18's that hurt my ride quality as I switch to and from them and the stock 17's every so often.

I have them paired with Evo5's and when going over bumps it can get very obnoxious. I am super picky about ride quality and I hope this combo is the best. Couldn't imagine driving anything rougher.
